birth†mark is a visceral exploration of the human psyche in a state of erosion. Emerging from the intersection of Death Metal aggression and the abrasive melancholy of Industrial/Alternative Metal, the project captures the liminal space between survival and insanity. The name signifies an inherent scar, a mark from birth that defines a journey through self-destruction and forced reconstruction.
The Melodic Death Core: High-speed, soaring dual-guitar harmonies and aggressive growls that provide the emotional blueprint of the music. This is the source of the "catchy" hooks that linger long after the song ends.
The Groove Foundation: Massive, syncopated rhythms and "chug" patterns that create a physical sense of weight. It represents the relentless, heavy cycle of the "madness" and the nightmares.
